Tempura Techniques
from Japan.
Tastes Designed for the World.

Tendon Kohaku is a brand expanding its presence in overseas markets by flexibly customizing its offerings to suit the cultures and preferences of the regions it enters, while maintaining authentic Japanese tempura techniques at its core.

Not limited by the framework of traditional Japanese cuisine, the brand designs products optimized for demand, such as introducing a spicy sauce and developing menus considerate of local dietary habits. This fusion of authenticity and adaptability serves as a stable customer attraction base that garners support from customers across diverse cultural spheres.

Key Features of
the Overseas Franchise

The Batter That Survives
the Delivery Bag.

One of Tendon Kohaku's strengths is its independently developed tempura flour blend and frying technique. It incorporates methods to maintain the crispy texture for delivery, even when served in regions with high temperatures and humidity.

In an era where the delivery market is expanding, this quality preservation technology functions as a differentiating factor from competitors. It is a rational system that captures off-premise consumption demand without compromising product quality, improving overall store profitability.

Soy Sauce for Tokyo.
Spicy Sauce for Singapore.

In addition to the traditional soy sauce-based sauce, the brand has independently developed a "spicy sauce" preferred by customers in regions such as Southeast Asia, offering it as a core product.

Furthermore, the brand is capable of flexible menu development tailored to market characteristics, such as offering vegetarian tendon in consideration of local dietary habits and religious backgrounds. Through this localization strategy, the brand broadens the local customer base and facilitates smooth multi-store expansion.

The Presentation That Makes
Everyday Feel Special.

The three-dimensional presentation, piling multiple pieces of tempura high as if overflowing from the bowl, provides customers with a substantial volume and a sense of specialness.

This visual impact creates a premium experience value within an everyday meal. By increasing customer satisfaction, it functions as a business structure that secures a stable high-unit price setting and profit margins without getting caught in price competition.

Delicious authentic Japanese cuisine

“My wife and I enjoyed a delicious authentic Japanese meal here on our first night in Singapore. Both being strict vegetarians the Vegetable Tendon Set with Udon Soup well suited our needs.”

Great Tendon

“Just had lunch here. Reasonably priced and good tendon. Quite filling actually. Try the one with spicy sauce, taste better. Taste comparable to those I had in Japan recently.”

Famous international chain

“We had the Kohaku tendon, lemonade and matcha ice cream as part of dine out.  I was happy their dine out is  reflection of dishes on regular menu.  The batter was light and the only suggestion would be they not put their sauce on the deep fried items as that makes it soggy / less crisp.  The hot sake was good.”

The Bowl That
Photographs Itself.

The tempura overflowing from the bowl has an incredible visual impact—just looking at the photos gets you excited! According to local reviews, the spicy sauce and vegetarian options are a big hit, with many saying it suits their tastes perfectly. It's so appealing how they successfully blend local trends with authentic Japanese quality.

What's also great is how it fits perfectly into current lifestyles, as they've made sure it tastes just as delicious for delivery as it does when dining in. With this combination of a "truly special feel" and "satisfying volume," it totally makes sense why there's a growing number of fans who want to share it on social media and keep ordering it again and again.
